A summary of qualifications and work experience


This is My Professional Story

I am a registered psychologist with the HPCSA, BHF and EAGALA (UK), with 23 years experience (as at 2017) in private practice.

I completed my B.A. Music degree with Psychology, Violin and Piano as main subjects in 1990. Subsequently, in 1991 I obtained my B.A. Honours degree and studied further the following year (1992) to complete my Master’s degree in Psychology.

In the same year of 1992, while doing an internship as a Psychologist, I registered as a Psychometrist. In 1994 I registered as a Psychologist and started a private practice.

I did various industry related diplomas and certifications throughout the years:

* 1993 – Diploma in Support of Alcoholics (Aurora Alcohol and Drugs Clinic)

* 1995 – Diploma in Phase 1 Clinical Hypnosis ( SACHS)

* 1998 – Diploma in Developmental Touch Therapy

* 2008 & 2010 – Certification in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP – EAGALA – United Kingdom)
